Calling All High School Students!
Ever wondered what it takes to bring a live theatre production to life? Join the backstage team at Chatham Community Players and discover the excitement of community theatre!
We’re looking for enthusiastic high school students who are interested in theatre, enjoy working as part of a team, or simply want to try something new. No previous theatre experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and a commitment to helping the production succeed.
Volunteer opportunities may include:
- Assisting with set construction, painting, and scenery
- Helping with props, costumes, and backstage organization
- Supporting scene changes and backstage operations
- Assisting the production team with other behind-the-scenes tasks
What you’ll gain:
- Hands-on experience in live theatre production
- An opportunity to learn new skills and work with experienced theatre volunteers
- Teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving experience
- A chance to support the arts and become part of your local theatre community
Please note: These are unpaid volunteer opportunities. Students volunteer to gain experience, learn about theatre, and contribute to a community production. Specific duties and schedules will depend on the production and the student's availability.
