Black Box Series
Entering its fifth season, the Chatham Community Players’ Black Box series is our opportunity to take a chance on the unexpected. These shows have small casts, small sets, and are staged up close to our audiences. Our annual two-show slate of productions, staged for two weekends each, complements our mainstage season and allows us to spotlight our director's passion projects - shows they never thought they'd get the chance to share with an audience.
"The amount of work and energy put into...performances is staggering and a testament to this little black box theater that dares to step beyond the tried-and-true fare of many community theaters. We are lucky to have such a plucky, adventurous troupe here in New Jersey." - Ruth Ross, nj arts maven
